Professional Background
Kati is a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW). She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University and her master’s degree in social work from Northern Michigan University.
She has experience providing therapy and mental health services in underserved rural communities and is passionate about creating an environment where every client feels seen and valued. Her therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based practices, and somatic, body-based interventions. By recognizing the connection between the mind and body, Kati helps clients build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.
