EMDR Therapy

At Caught Dreamin’ Therapy, our trained therapists create a safe, supportive space to guide you through the EMDR process. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a powerful, research-backed approach to healing trauma.

Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (often guided eye movements) to help the brain reprocess unhealed memories. This reduces the emotional intensity of painful experiences, allowing you to move forward feeling calmer, safer, and more in control.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a brain-body therapy that locates unprocessed trauma in the brain and gently helps release it. The motto is simple: “Where you look affects how you feel.”

By using eye position to access frozen experiences stored in the brain, Brainspotting helps the mind and body reprocess distressing memories and emotions. With guided focus and an empathetic therapeutic presence, clients experience deep resolution, improved relationships, and greater emotional freedom.
