When you're ready to feel more like yourself, we're here.

Medication management is one of those things that can feel complicated and a little overwhelming, but it really does not have to be. At Caught Dreamin Therapy, we keep things simple. We are here to help you figure out if medication is a good fit for your mental health journey, and if it is, we will walk with you through the whole process. No confusing medical jargon, no feeling rushed, just real support from real people who genuinely care about how you are doing.

Medication management is about so much more than handing you a prescription and sending you on your way. It is an ongoing conversation. We check in with you regularly, listen to how things are going, and make adjustments when something is not quite right. You know your body and mind better than anyone, and we respect that. Our job is to be your partner in this, helping you make decisions that feel right for you and your life.

Why It Matters

When mental health symptoms like anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, or grief start getting in the way of your everyday life, it can be hard to see a way forward. Therapy is incredibly powerful, and we offer a wide range of approaches including EMDR, IFS, CBT, DBT, ACT, Brainspotting, Breathwork, and more. But sometimes, medication can give you that extra bit of support that helps therapy work even better.

Here is the thing though: finding the right medication is not always a straight line. What works for one person might not work for another. That is why ongoing medication management matters. We pay attention to how you are feeling, what side effects you might be experiencing, and whether we need to try something different. It is a process, and we are patient with it.

What Makes Our Approach Different

We are not a big, impersonal clinic. We are a group of people who got into this work because we genuinely want to help. When you come to us for medication management, you are not just a chart or a list of symptoms. You are a person with a story, and we want to hear it.

Our approach is relaxed and collaborative. We take the time to really understand what is going on for you, what you have tried before, and what your goals are. We explain things in plain language and make sure you feel informed before making any decisions. If you have concerns or questions, we want to hear them. This is your journey, and you are in the driver's seat.

We also love that we can integrate medication management with therapy all under one roof. Whether you are working through trauma with EMDR, building skills with DBT, or exploring your inner world with IFS, your care stays connected and coordinated. It just makes things easier.

Who We Work With

We work with all kinds of people: adults, teens, young adults, children, couples, and perinatal parents. Each stage of life brings its own challenges, and we tailor our approach to meet you where you are.

If you are a new parent navigating perinatal anxiety or depression, we get it. That time in life can be beautiful and really hard at the same time. We offer thoughtful, careful support during pregnancy and postpartum.

For teens and young adults, we know the pressures you are facing are real. School, social stuff, figuring out who you are: it is a lot. We create a space where you can be honest about what is going on without judgment.

And for adults juggling work, relationships, and everything else, we are here to help you feel more like yourself again.

Getting Started

The easiest way to connect with us is to fill out the contact form on our website. Tell us a little about yourself and what you are looking for. You will hear back from us within one to four business days. From there, we will work on matching you with a provider who is a good fit.

If there is a specific person on our team you would like to work with, just let us know. We will do our best to make that happen. The more you share with us upfront, the better we can match you with someone who really gets you.

We offer both in-person sessions at our Marquette, MI and Ishpeming, MI locations, as well as online sessions if that works better for your schedule.

You Do Not Have to Have It All Figured Out

If you are unsure whether medication management is right for you, that is completely okay. You do not need to come to us with all the answers. All you need is a willingness to explore your options and a desire to feel better. We will figure out the rest together.

At Caught Dreamin Therapy, we are real people helping real people heal. We would love to be part of your journey.

Frequently Asked Questions About Medication Management

  • Medication management is an ongoing process where we work with you to find and fine-tune medications that support your mental health. It includes regular check-ins, monitoring for side effects, and adjusting your treatment as needed.

  • It depends on where you are in the process. When starting something new, we check in more frequently. Once things feel stable, appointments become less often while still keeping that ongoing connection.

  • Yes, and we actually encourage it. Combining medication with therapy approaches like EMDR, CBT, DBT, or IFS often leads to better results. Our team works together to keep your care coordinated.

  • Tell us. Seriously, we want to know. Many side effects ease up over time, but if something is bothering you, we can adjust your medication or try a different option.

  • It varies. Some medications work within days, while others take a few weeks to kick in. We will give you realistic expectations and stay connected as you wait.

  • Not necessarily. Some people benefit from short-term support, while others find longer-term treatment helpful. We will make that decision together based on your needs and goals.

  • We do. Medication management for young people requires extra care, and we involve parents and caregivers every step of the way.

  • Perinatal mental health is something we specialize in. We provide thoughtful, informed care that considers both your wellbeing and your baby's.

  • A list of any medications or supplements you currently take is helpful. Beyond that, just come ready to share what has been going on and what you are hoping for.

  • Fill out the contact form on our website. Share a bit about yourself, and we will be in touch within one to four business days to take it from there.
