Lauren Anderson, LLMSW

Hi there I’m Lauren Anderson and I am a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) who works with individuals navigating OCD, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I’m an EMDR therapist and take a trauma-informed, nervous system-based approach to help clients find healing and regain a sense of control in their lives.

My work centers around the connection between the nervous system, trauma responses, and the negative core beliefs we often develop from childhood into early adulthood. I help clients explore how these beliefs shape their current emotional and behavioral patterns—and more importantly, how to shift them.

We begin by building a strong foundation of adaptive strategies tailored to each client’s symptom level and lived experience. These tools support clients in managing distress, recognizing triggers, regulating emotions, and navigating challenges more effectively.

I prioritize creating a space that feels psychologically, emotionally, and physically safe. Within that space, we work together on developing healthy boundaries, communication skills, and coping mechanisms to support both personal growth and stronger relationships.

My goal is to guide you toward a place of stability, self-understanding, and healing—at your pace and in your own way.

Beyond providing therapy, I find solace and connection to others with the great outdoors whether it is dirt biking with friends, spending time with my horses, or just hitting the trails for a run. With a passion for both mental wellness and outdoor adventure, I work to embrace life’s challenges with courage, compassion, and commitment to growth.
