Jeanie Anderson, LLMSW

Hi, I’m Jeanie Anderson, a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) and recent graduate of Walden University, where I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW). I hold a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Northern Michigan University and bring nearly a decade of experience supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence through my work at the Women’s Center & Harbor House.

My path to social work is rooted in personal experience and a deep commitment to healing and empowerment. I am trained in trauma-informed care and have worked extensively with individuals navigating a variety of mental health challenges. I believe in meeting people where they are and creating a safe, supportive space where they can explore their strengths, build resilience, and reclaim their lives.

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that everyone has the ability to heal and grow. It’s a privilege to walk alongside individuals on their journeys, helping them connect with their inner wisdom and move through life’s challenges with grace and confidence.

Outside of work, I find joy in spending time with my family and my beloved Bernedoodle, Maple—my 90-pound hiking buddy and daily source of joy. I also enjoy expressing my creativity through fiber arts, especially knitting and crocheting, which offer me a sense of calm, connection, and renewal.
